大陆女生慕容碧（王奕瑾 饰）与香港男生凌志南（黄恺杰 饰）在台湾南部海滨相逢产生恋情，却因为误会而分开。多年后，前途光明的慕容碧因为业务疏失，受迫必须在限期内成功推行专案。为此，她只得答应表姐袁晓慧（钱柏渝 饰）的要求，在不违反社会道德规范之下，出卖三个东西：爱情、灵魂和身体。在此期间，凌志南因故来到北京，却意外与慕容碧不期而遇。两人是否会因为那幅载满记忆的《珍珠岛的天空》重燃爱恋，共同面对当初分手的真正答案呢？ Jung-Bi and Zhi-Nan, two poor and passionate young people, fell in love in spring 2004 but soon were separated due to misunderstandings.
